New shoes for Ferdi the Fox
Published: 4th July 2016Flambards’ Ferdi the Fox has started his summer with a brand-spanking new pair of shoes!
The 26 year old mascot has walked and danced miles around Flambards Theme Park in Helston since he joined the Helston attraction in 1990 and his size 20 feet had worn out.
Ferdi visited Timpsons in Helston to get a new pair fitted and is looking forward to showing them off this Summer Holidays.
Sarah Gration, Branch Manager Timpsons says: “We were thrilled to work on a new pair of shoes for Ferdi the Fox from Flambards. His are by far the largest ‘feet’ that we have ever worked on, and it was certainly different from our usual repairs.”
“His shoes were very worn and definitely needed some repair. He now has a pair of foxy feet completely restored to their former glory, so he can continue strutting his stuff!”
Richard Smith, Manager Flambards says: “Ferdi the Fox is a big part of the Flambards experience and has been part of the attraction over 26 years. His shoes get a lot of wear and tear so we are pleased to see him with a new pair ready to meet and greet visitors this summer.”
Enjoy a day out with Ferdi this summer and enjoy 7-day free return.
